I’ve been in a few inpatient EEGs . The Dr. Wants me to show large seizures. But my medication could be near nothing and not showing any Large seizures, that they are looking for . My mild and moderate seizures aren’t enough. I was even offered food or beverages that could trigger my seizures.

there are commercials for cancer, Heart Disease, and a half a dozen more yet no one has even hardly heard of Epilepsy just think of
what good could be done if we had a few commercials ask for help
and talking about it maybe people would know what to do if they saw one
Because there is no cure for epilepsy. Epilepsy is a treatable, but incurrable disease. This is why even when people have surgery the reoccurrence of seizures may still be a possibility.

I read that there is a belief that epileptics share certain personality traits, more common/recognizable in those with TLE. I started reaerching it because I felt like I saw commonalities and was surprised to see so much research on the subject. I don't think anyone would know better than us. What do you think?

Do you view that you had a good life prior to Epilepsy starting later in life? And do you feel that you are cursed, challenged or simply frustrated by life with all of the seizures and/or all of the side effects of medications, surgeries, implants, etc.? I am a controlled epileptic, and was wondering if my memory would still be at risk for memory loss.
You are at risk at pace of 6-1 to develop Dementia faster than a non-epileptic. Keep that in mind. 💜

I would just tell them that the Epilepsy Foundation does not say epileptic anymore. They only use "a person with epilepsy".
