Night Sweats, Unrelated To Meds Or Menopause

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Anyone else get night sweats EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (not from medication, menopause or perimenopause) specifically from their epilepsy? I sleep with my room probably about 55° every night yet every night I wake up 10 times every evening very uncomfortable and drenched in pools of sweat.

No Because I Sleep Very Comfortable With The Proper Temperature In My Bedroom & Not Fully Dressed Under Covers. Heat Is Not Good For My Seizures.

Night Sweats

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

A lot of mornings, I wake up in a pool of sweat, literally soaked, I am laying in more sweat than I could ever imagine. But when I wake up, I am not hot at all. Does this sound like night seizures?

It happens to me as well....could be perimenopause or menopause, which also trigger nocturnal seizures and sweats.

Does Anyone Sweat More Often Than Usual As Maybe A Side Effect To Your Medications?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have found that I sweat much more lately. I thought I have always did but I recently noticed that my bed sheets, which are a dark green, have become tinted orange from heavy perspiration at night while I sleep. My levels always seem to be okay, i was just curious if this is a sign to something else that I should be concerned about.

XCopri Upgrading And Night Terrors

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Has anyone else had night terror-like seizures that come with deja vu when upgrading your dosage of xCopri? I've upgraded it twice, and on both nights I had horrible dreams that I swear I've had before, accompanied by waking in a state of deja vu that had me terrified until I could calm myself down. I only ask because I'm due for my last upgrade this week, and I'm fully expecting another night of deja vu terror. I think they could be some sort of seizure, and I dont have a clue why they only… read more

Can You Stop Minor Twitching Yourself If It's Epelptic Or Not?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Last night was very scary I hallucinated when I was awake which hasn't happened in a yr. When I hallucinate it's about my family being killed. I broke into hot sweats and my right wrist started twitching but I remember stopping it twitching myself by holding it. I'm assuming this is just anxiety and not epileptic?
