Anyone else have seizures triggered by computers or devices like iPads? I'm an author and am on them near constantly and my doctor seems to think they may have something to do with it. I can't exactly NOT be on them, so yeah....just curious about other people and how they deal. :)
I had to stop using devices for day's and sometimes weeks, just to protect myself. I found that wearing rose colored tint in my prescription glasses opened up a whole new world for me..my optometrist… read more

My doctor prescribes lactulose (10ml. twice daily) for me monthly due to epilepsy medication and chronic kidney disease. It certainly helps.

For example, mostly for me the most simple one is i am just sitting or lying on my bed watching telly…suddenly i feel weird and have a seizure.
My triggers that makes it happen, that i try my heardest to avoid are
Stress
Heat
Sudden sickness, loss of my vision

I noticed lately lots of people on the forum are having lots of blackouts as well as seizures. Is there a common link here or medication?
The blackouts I experienced is a form of a seizure. It an also be a side effect from the medication.
I have been seizure free for 2 years but had a cluster on Monday. I haven't been sleeping well due to hyperstimulation of screens. We are all spending so much more time on screens (thanks COVID!) I am wondering whether anyone else has noticed an increase in seizures because of increase of screens.
Okay. My most recent was a single and the prior 3 i had 2 per day. What a strange condition.
Would you wear the dark blue glasses that are meant to stop photoepilepsy?
