Is Constipation A Trigger For Seizure??

Remaining too much constipation, can it cause trigger to seizures??

My doctor prescribes lactulose (10ml. twice daily) for me monthly due to epilepsy medication and chronic kidney disease. It certainly helps.

It’s very possible to have a seizure from constipation. Especially, , if you’re trying to force out the BM ( Bowel Movement ) . That can cause a form of stress.

You may want to buy over the counter drugs that helps relieve constipation ..

Ive never had that problem. I take 400 mg of magnesium citrate in the evening. This helps with constipation and migraines.

It could be. In my case the need to urinate (possibly due to stress) is involved.
