Wow! I had a weird dream last night. I had a dream that I had a grand mal in the middle of the night and then came here and posted it. I was away this weekend and missed all the comments here on this thread. Maybe that was what prompted it since I haven't been on this site since Thursday. I do enjoy hearing the stories of others, not out of morbid curiosity, but how each person with epilepsy is coping. Individuals are like books and usually interesting reading. đŸ˜‰

Yes ,your ? Makes sense.I haven't had tonic/clonic seizures for many years ,they were replaced by non convulsive partials that are uncontrolled.I do dream ,on occasions, that I've had a big seizure through the night.

Confusion is exactly what an epileptic seizure
causes. Human thought consciousness are lost for a bit in the same way body control is. Keep in mind it a physical prob with the brain-epilepsy. It can be scary try to relax let it pass then wait for the mind to return to normal. Don't dwell on it or let it freak you out like a bad dream shake it off Years ago not much was known bout the brain or seizures. Still a strange feeling but not from the mind mis-functioning.
