I’ve read a lot about some people having auras before an epileptic seizure. I know there have been times where I’ve been physically ill or have literally felt like I seeing a big red sign flashing in my brain warning me that a seizure was coming. I wonder if other people have ever experienced that big red sign sensation before a seizure hit.

So after reading I've read many say they were out or doing something they had a siezure and kept doing what they were doing. Other than now knowing that aoras don't think I'm spelling correctly, are a siezure I guess..... If not what does everyone mean? They weren't flopping on the floor..... I now that's not the only type but I'm still confused.

Hi guys,
I'm not on any medication at the moment for my tonic clonic and grand mal seizures.
I'm wanting to speak to my Dr about maybe starting Topomax.
Has anyone been on it? Any side effects? Does it help stop seizures?
Did you take topomax in conjunction with other seizure meds or on it's own?

What is the difference between an aura and a petit seizure. When I have an aura in which can last for hours I feel like a riot is going on inside me. People have told me to say something. I don't always have a seizure. I don't want to be the boy that cried wolf all the time.

How many of you have uncontrolled Epilepsy

Since I started with SEER in June 2022 I have had 69 seizures, some of the medication to help me control my seizures have very serious side effects so they have had to be stopped..

I am interested in anyone possibly knowing what type of seizure would cause what I guess is an aura. I feel really weird before it happens. My body starts tingling. I start feeling disoriented. So i’ve been diagnosed with Epilepsy since age 12. Started at night and then it switched to day time (partial) as i grew older i got a little more familiar with it when i would get Auras . my Auras are i feel a sense throughout my body .
