Personality Changes In Spouse After He Began Having Seizures
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband suddenly started having grand mal seizures about 6 years ago completely out of the blue and was diagnosed with epilepsy about 6 months after his first cluster of seizures. He was young (27) fit and healthy and strong as he is a farmer, since the epilepsy began he has changed in almost every way... can anyone else relate?

Osteoarthritis
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was told it was normal wear and tear and my blood test for inflammation had come back clear. I insisted on further investigation on my… read more

Pain In My Temples
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have sharp pains that hit me in my temples. Does anyone else have this pain and what do you do for it. I am 65 and had seizures since 13 years of age. This pain just started about 2 years ago. My neurologist gave me a antiflmatory but it does not help. Some times it wakes me up. The pain in my head is horrible.

Can Anyone Please Share Your Experience And Symptoms Of Night Time Seizures?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm trying to understand what my child of 3 year old may be having at night time. His neurologist thinks it may be (nocturnal) partial seizures, but we are not 100% sure. Behavior he would display includes
- he makes a clicking sounds with his mouth/tongue while lying down in bed
- suddenly wake up in the night and starts screaming and crying
- repeatedly trying to sit up in bed, then lose balance and falling down
- thrashing around (in bed)
- sudden fearful look in his face paired with fearful… read more
