Pain In My Temples
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have sharp pains that hit me in my temples. Does anyone else have this pain and what do you do for it. I am 65 and had seizures since 13 years of age. This pain just started about 2 years ago. My neurologist gave me a antiflmatory but it does not help. Some times it wakes me up. The pain in my head is horrible.

When I get any form of head ache ( which is rarely for me ) I use what is closest to me or what ever the brand or type of pain reliever is available.

Pain meds can cause constipation also.

I have pain meds for my back issues so it calms the pain down for a few hours but it still lingers. If I add ibuprofen to the mix then comes a seizure.

I don’t usually have headache pain even after a seizure but it seems I’ve been grinding my teeth while sleeping recently. Now I have this continuous dull but throbbing headache on one side of my head for the last week. I hope you get some relief from the pain and I wish you seizure free days ☺️
