I’m 41 years old and I’ve never had a headache. Is this because I have seizures instead?
You’re very welcome Boron 😊
Hello
A while back, I had a seizure that caused me to fall on my face and damage my top front teeth. It took sone time, but they’re finally fixed! My dentists and dental assistant are worried about me damaging my teeth again so they made me a custom fit dental guard. The guard is supposed to protect my teeth from grinding as well. They said the guard is optional and that I could wear it for a few hours in the day or in the night while I sleep. However, they keep highly recommending I wear it.… read more
Likewise, back when the dentist I had who told me that I should get the mouth guard (because I was grinding my teeth) told me that I needed a referral from my neurologist (2nd neurologist) at the… read more
I just started having that. My left eye started to get dark for a few minutes a couple of days ago, so I have decided that my driving license should be “hung up” for the foreseeable future until… read more
The light may not exactly flash but it moves along the side, front to back, of your peripheral vision in one of your eyes. Also, does anybody else get it when you change to light or darker settings? For example, If you walked from a brighter to a darker section of a room, or if a large piece of hair suddenly falls near your eyes and blocks light.
Sure, almost everyone gets this at some point. It is most likely caused by vitreous separation, something that happens to us as we age. Check with your eye doctor to make sure, though.
To anyone who regularly gets headaches do you take anything for them or do you just let it run its course until it's gone away?
The main reason I bring this up is, normally I would just take paracetamol for it and it is gone away but it still lasts 6 hrs+.
So my point is how would you work out the base time for these headaches if you were to just let them run their course until they go away?
tylenol
Sorry you have headaches last so long. My headaches last till midday after aura seizure.
Last off and on for about 3 days.

Ok finally I have a question. I read about a treatment for seizures that triggered by stress and lack of sleep. I cannot seem to find or remember the name of it. Can somebody help me with this?
My Dr. Has me on Clonezepam to help me sleep . For stress I'm not sure what's out there that will not interact will your seizure meds. The best thing to do is talk to your Doctor.
My son has a bad headache and sinus congestion.
I can't take nsaids so I take tylenol arthritis which is just a stringer form of tylenol. I go to a pulmonary doc and the new antihistamines on the market are fine to take. Right now I take that xy… read more
It all started about 2 years ago. It was originally caused by a sugar rush I would drink about 8 cans of soft drinks over the course of the week and get really dehydrated then about two years ago I started getting headaches about three a week. I had a sudden Tonic-clonic seizure late last year (I already had epilepsy) then after that happened I basically cut right back on all soft drinks I was having and increased my water intake. So as of now, I'm lucky if I have 1-2 soft drinks. I still drink… read more
