I wonder if it might be medication related? You don’t mention whether or not you are on any medication, so a review could be needed.
Hi all,
I’m a bit confused (as always lol) So my neurologist has sent my clinic letter and stated that I have epilepsy with focal seizures and generalised convulsions. I know my EEG identifies my focal seizure started in my temporal lobe and I was diagnosed with TLE but doesn’t generalised mean all over the brain.
Thanks in advance.
There’s a section in the epilepsy diary they gave me for notes and questions! But thanks so much for the advice!💕💕
Hi guys,
I'm not on any medication at the moment for my tonic clonic and grand mal seizures.
I'm wanting to speak to my Dr about maybe starting Topomax.
Has anyone been on it? Any side effects? Does it help stop seizures?
Did you take topomax in conjunction with other seizure meds or on it's own?
Thanks heaps.
I hope you have a blessed Christmas holiday also @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Does anyone know what the condition is called when you get both Focal and Generalised Seizures?
Just a FYI I'm really only trying to see if there is any official name for this.
Thank you.
