I have twitching that goes on for hours. Instense deja vu for even longer afterward. I had epilepsy surgery 3 years ago and these new episodes started a year ago. Has anybody had similar experiences after surgery?
Yes I have them when I especially need my hands still. But also when having a Seizure and than extremely tired afterwards.

The big ones are controlled by meds the others are not and have 3 or 4 times a week

Throughout my life and still today, I've experienced feelings like I've been here before or I knew something would happen. It may not have anything to do with my condition but I've read similar testimonies and was wondering if anyone else out there experiences this.

Hi , just read an old message posted on Epilepsy Foundation many years ago which is similar to my condition. I had a dual pacemaker 14 yrs ago then soon after had vacant seizures. I then went on Lamotrigine which controlled them for 10 years. But 2022 I had another pacemaker as it was 10 yrs old. Then afterwards seizures started but with fainting episodes. There are seizures that accur , that doesn’t relate with Epilepsy.
I'm 18 years old and have had Absent seizures since I was 2. The many different medicines I have taken have not worked for me. More bad than good. all the side affects. My Dr. is suggesting a VNS. I'm really on the fence about this as it is life changing forever more. i would like to find people to talk with that has Absent seizures with a VNS that it has help and ones that has a VNS that it hasent help and now has to live withit for the rest of their lives. please help me out with your good or… read more
A full moon makes my puppy kind of crazy which = a lack of sleep = which does tend to increase absent seizures (is that still the term? this stuff has changed so much over the last 2 decades. )
Hello everyone, I was just wondering do any of you have sezuires from loud music in a closed area like my self. Also do you have high anxiety from noice that is unusually louder than usual. I recntly in the last couple of years picked up on this. When someone yells at me in anger sezuires happen no doubt. I ran off one time and hit my head on the wall during a complex partial and dont remember anything. Just woke up with a knot on my head and a bad headache. Can any of you relate?
