A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi , just read an old message posted on Epilepsy Foundation many years ago which is similar to my condition. I had a dual pacemaker 14 yrs ago then soon after had vacant seizures. I then went on Lamotrigine which controlled them for 10 years. But 2022 I had another pacemaker as it was 10 yrs old. Then afterwards seizures started but with fainting episodes. Thank you ! I’ve emailed, messaged Epilepsy Foundation and Epilepsy research without any response. The doctors and consultants just send phone appointments. I just don’t see anyone I lost my job because of the lack of corporation.

I also was told I was a liability “dangerous “. But soon after I had my first pacemaker I thought how can I now have seizures when I never had in the past. The implant gives out low voltage impulses of which impulses around my right lobe can cause a seizure. When I mentioned it to the consultant he looked vacant to my question. But I’ve never seen by a doctor they just phone you up unless I’m laying on a stretcher I have no hope. I shall continue with the emails eg resending them until they respond…. Epilepsy Foundation etc. I shall then update you all!. But thank you for understanding I just hope these so called professionals did.
