I was seizure free until age 12 or 13, when I experienced the same type of headache, followed by a grand mal seizure. I was put on Phenobarbital with Dilantin, which took for about 10 years. I experienced another grand mal seizure a few months later, while I was hospitalized for an appendectomy. I hadn't been given my epilepsy medication. I was put on Tegretol in my mid 20's. I tend to see things when I have my seizures. It's really crazy. One time when they had to revive me, it was like I could see them from above working on me and shocking me with the paddles. Other times it's like I see things constantly that I know aren't there. I see stuff like wavy lines, curvy spikes and colors and crazy looking designs for stuff in my head. I want to use what I see to help me later on to become a glass artist like Dustin Revere. Dude busted his ass despite being an epileptic… read more

Hello, which of you have temporal lobe epilepsy? What medications do you use and how well have you controlled the attacks?
I am aware that surgery is appropriate.
Which of you practice homeopathy and what?
Thanks in advance for the answers!
How are you feeling today?
You might try venting the window if there is one. This will get rid of steam. Use Liquid soap on the puffer ball. Relaxation is the key. Do it before Mom's awake or the night before . ericthom3
