This helps tremendously.
I have Tonic Clonic seizures as well as Absent and Myoclonic. I can deal with the twitches but the muscles stiffening up causes so much pain.

My seizures are from my anaplastic astrocytoma brain tumor and nerve damage had surgery 1999,... 33 rounds of radiation and that 15 rounds of chemo been a long journey.. so far radiation has aged my brain 30yrs so I get to experience old age I'm 56 with an 86 Year old brain having to admit I'm disabled and giving up driving was the hardest thing
Oh god my son just got the vns in Dec 2023 I hope I didn’t make a mistake for him after reading this he’s physically 31 but mentally 4 with autism too and I swear that device doesn’t help him either
The key is not any one person's story, but rather pieces of all of the stories of everyone on the site who is willing to agree to donate (not for individual profit) the key events points of your story so that we can get the word out to the world about what are collective stories can do to explain what epilepsy really is. She has had this for 4 weeks already. Giving Guaifesin and not doing much. She has a vaporizer and take cetirizine daily.
Talk to your doctor first about using any cold/flu medication. There are some that will increase seizure frequency depending on your type of seizures and your seizure medications.
