Hi all,
I had my first baby 6 months ago and was able to do it with no meds. Unfortunately I have had two grand mal/tonic clonic seizures since then while sleeping so now I'm taking Keppra and Lamictal. We want to have another baby sometime in the next year or two. Has anyone taken these meds while pregnant? Hi,
I have been on maternity leave then on disability for an addition 4 months. I have had two major tonic clonic seizures during sleep since being on leave and am now back on meds. I am still having simple partial seizures during sleep. I have a job that requires me to drive all day and sometimes transport children by myself. I was diagnosed with puedoseizures and epilepsy in 2014 put on Keppra and Topamax. I saw little improvement. Ive had time to think through those diagnosis and come to a realzation that my seizure like events may have always been puedo due to a tramatic event I sustained at age 15. Im wondering how i bring up my thoughts on this matter to a doctor? Do I talk with my neruologist or my psychiatrist?

I brush my teeth 2x a day, but lately, I've noticed bleeding in my mouth & when I spit. I went to the dentist & she said there's nothing wrong with my teeth, no cavities or anything. I asked her why I get blood in my mouth & she said it might be my seizure medications.
I don’t think it is really very uncommon for a person’s gums to bleed. I think it really may depend on the medication, and how hard a person really brushes their teeth 🦷. So when You do don’t push… read more
