My 6 yr old has Partial Complex seizures..And multi drug resistant until Banzel..Still on Keppra TID(3X/day)..The 1st wk, she had a tonic clonic seizure and didnt respond to 2 doses of Diastat.
However, since then, she hasnt had a recurrent seizure. No headaches yet.Thus far, she responding well. Wishing you well

I'm on Banzel I take 200mg 2x a day it causes bad headaches are so bad. They are almost intolerable even on medication for headaches. I was put on 450mg because my Dr. thought the dose was not strong enough. But 450mg causes more seizures so I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and if they did how they handled the side affects. Thank you for telling me how it affected you

I was on Banzel for a year 2 years. Started at 200mg twice a day, then i felt too drugged up so they lowered me to 150mg. Around that time, my headaches and seizures got worse, and my neurologist decided to take me off the med because he felt like it wasn't doing its job anymore.
