I have been taking keppra and lacosamide for over a year now and have had stomach problems for the last 6 months and have recently been diagnosed with an inflammatory bowel disease. I am seizure free but just wondered whether anyone else had experienced these type of problems?
YES, because I am on TOPIRIMATE and OXCARBAZAPINE they had to put me on PROTONIX 40MG 2x a day and ZOFRAN for NAUSEA

Ok so i have had seizurs since i was 18 months old i got them from a fever i have the grandmaw and the absons now my daddy before i was born had seizurs the grandmaw but he had a tumor and had it removed and never had another one i just just find it to much of a quinky dink of a father and daughter having seizurs and it not being genetic in some way.... Is there a difference between brand name medicine and generic medicine? Has anyone taken extended release medicine?
Majority of the time, brand name meds work better than generics. A lot of times Insurances wont accept the brand name and the next alternative is the generic.
So my question is I have a identical twin brother who had epilepsy when he was younger but it seems like he out grew it like a kid wearing a top but as he out grew it I ended up growing in to having epilepsy so does being identical twin brother have anything different to why he both had it but at different points of are life’s
