My son who is 20 just got put on Klonopin (he was already on Keppra & Vimpat) & I was just curious as to see who all has been on this particular drug & the outcome of it? Side effects seem really harsh?? He's in college so I'm concerned about sleepiness. Waiting on dr to come in & speak to us, but was wondering on your thoughts! Any & all feedback is appreciated! My Dr. Prescribed clonazePAM (KLONOPIN) for me to take when I get an aura. Of course the pharmacy didn't have it stock 😂 anyone take this before?

Dr prescribed Klonopin in addition to my other two meds. I looked up the side effects to the Klonopin and it makes me a bit nervous. I realize not everyone will have all the effects, but i I am especially concerned about the drowsiness. Does anyone else take the drug and how does it work for you?

I have been taking Klonopin two times one during the day and one at night for the last month. I take Lamotrigine 300 in the morning and 60mg of cymbalta for years for depression. I have a birthmark surrounding my left eyelid and left front forhead. Lately my left eyelid swells up everyday. I have Sturge Weber Syndrome also which causes seisures also.Thank you

I've been on it for years and my seizures keep getting worse. Now I'm having multiple forms of seizures instead of just tonic clinic like I had originally. And Dr keeps upping my dosage instead of switching meds even though I've requested it repeatedly. I sought out a different Dr and the new one kept me on same med (zonisimide) and dosages and seizures keep getting more frequent and worse and are now coming in clusters that sometimes last for a week!. My neurologist just added another medication to my collection of meds, have any of you taken Klonopin and exactly what is it an what side affects does it have. I havent even seen or asked my doctor cause they just called me over the phone to let me know that he was sending me it, RX

I had a TBI 11 years ago, effecting the left lobe of my head. I find it somewhat difficult to find words since then.

Currently I'm on 3,000 mg Keppra XR at 5pm, Vimpat 250mg at 7am and another 250 at 7pm and I just started Xcopri 100 mg once a day at 10pm. Since recent auras throughout the past year they want to wean to off of Keppra and have me on Xcopri.
