BRIVIACT made my son angry at times. He became aggressive when things went wrong. Switched to Cenobamate which seems more effective in stopping the seizures, also on Lamotrigine.

Has Anyonre Tried The Combination Of Cabatrol + Briviact
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hello, Friends.

I have tried the combination Briviat with Carbatrol before, along with Lyrica and Topamax. Once I start with Briviact, I will so much better than I don't even consider it a seizure, than after a week or so, I start to experience more seizures than usual.

Currently, I am taking Carbatrol + Fycompa + Lyrica. I have been thinking to re-take Briviact again. I know there is an interaction between Briviact and Tegretol, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried/ trying this combination… read more

Anyone On Vimpat And/or Briviact?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi, I’m on both briviact and vimpat and I’m wondering if anyone else is in either or both of these and could let me know what side effects they have if any. I’m on a pretty low dose of briviact but I feel like it has some weird side effects. Ever since I’ve been on it I occasionally have this thing happen where right when I’m going to sleep I wake up in a panic that I haven’t taken my medicine - it’s not a typical event like being unsure whether I’ve taken my evening dose and it wakes me up from… read more

Reducing The Cost Of BRIVIACT
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question đź’

I am currently taking multiple doses of BRIVIACT and it’s been a long journey of adjustments. From my AM and PM being reduced and now increased. I am at a prescribed level of 100mg in the morning and 125mg in the evening. This involves me purchasing two prescriptions for at least 10 dollars a piece.
Is there a program that anyone knows of that would help cover the costs difference that part D doesn’t.
