Reducing The Cost Of BRIVIACT
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am currently taking multiple doses of BRIVIACT and it’s been a long journey of adjustments. From my AM and PM being reduced and now increased. I am at a prescribed level of 100mg in the morning and 125mg in the evening. This involves me purchasing two prescriptions for at least 10 dollars a piece.
Is there a program that anyone knows of that would help cover the costs difference that part D doesn’t.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , You might try contacting your local Epilepsy Foundation & let them know your situation & ask if they could help or if they could recommend a way for you to get some help. When I didn’t have any insurance, my local Epilepsy Foundation apparently put me on a program that they had & I paid $25 dollars a year & it covered my meds, my phone check-ups with my Neurologist & blood work. At first I was put on Vimpat & at the time there wasn’t a generic available & so I called the manufacturer of Vimpat & they offer a Patient Assistance Program, just like many meds do, & I applied for the program & was approved. So you could also see if Briviact’s manufacturer has a Patient Assistance Program & contact them. A few years ago when I needed help, I contacted the manufacturer of my Depakote & they provided my Depakote for free & I contacted the manufacturer for my Trileptal & they offered a discount. So you just have to ask. If you go to www.epilepsy.com, you can look up your local Epilepsy Foundation & you’ll find a variety of ways you can contact them but for some reason they don’t have a website. If you go to www.Google.com & type in something like “Manufacturer of Briviact” then look around & maybe you’ll find a page for the manufacturer of the Briviact & then go to that page & on that website it might say something about a Patient Assistance Program. You likely would have to provide some information to them. Hope this helps. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky

go to the Briviact website as they have a savings that you can sign up for directly through the manufacturer and it will give you a 30 day supply at reasonable pricing. briviact.com is the website to visit for getting more of this information that is needed on savings.

A second option is to check GoodRX website as that may also give you a discount on the medication as well. I wish you well and hope the above helps.
