Does Anyone Here Take The Medication Briviact?

I'm about to start taking it. It's a fairly new medication and I'd like to know more about it

I take 50 mg along with 150mg of Vimpat. Both 2x a day and it's working. Both are the lowest amt of meds (dosage) I've ever needed. Even though I do get drowsy a bit, exercise and heavy proteins help in that area. It is really worth it. I'm even handling stress better now. I think that's because I don't deal with the adverse side effect of fatigue anymore. Either way, good luck, hope it works!

Oh I can relate to you @PhillipHowlett. When I was on Keppra I was very edgy. Mood swings as you know triggers seizures. My head was in a whirlpool, hard to focus. Sorry to hear the Brivact isn't working for you though

Changed from keppra to briviact, made a big change in my moods and depression, but no change in seizures, but mentally far better. Still affects my sleep patterns though, wish the could develop a epilepsy drug that can help with getting sleep.

Ive been on this med for 3 months at 50 mg twice daily. Along with topamax. I am now not having seizures. Its wonderful. Makes me a bit sleepy first thing in the morning but if i set an alarm to take it a bit earlier i can move on with my day.

It help me be a little more motivated and helped me with my wanting to eat more and get out and do though that I want to do for myself and with my son and family and has kinda helped with the seizures and fatigue.
