What kind of seizures does VNS help reduce? What "requirements" must you meet to have it? I see my neurologist next week and I'm going to ask him about it. I thought I would get your opinions first.

I am still told how many new messages there are each day, but I only have access in the list of a portion of those new messages. For example, right now it indicates that I have 11 more notifications, but there are not any in the new messages box for me to click on. This started a few weeks ago. And I have already contacted the managers of the site (and I was not the first to tell them) and their techs are working on the problem.

98% of my seizures happen during my REM sleep usually after 3am or later in the morning. I'm pretty much on a two week cycle. I have been on numerous AEDs and nothing seems to break the cycle. Was wondering if anyone has these types of seizures and have they found a treatment that has help reduce these type of seizure activity?

I eould like to post Brian's gofund me here in tbe group if it is allowed. We are facing a (Phone number can only be seen by MyEpilepsyTeam users) deductible just to start with before insurance even kicks in! And no secondary or gap insurance Brian hasn't been able to work at all since his July 4th seizure. And my disability income barely pays our normal expenses.
