How can you tell the difference between vertigo and Dizzeness or Seizures?
Vertigo and dizziness are the same thing. As for myself I go through absence seizure where I will black out briefly for a minute or less than a minute then will come to once again.
What do you do when you wake up feeling perfectly fine, take your meds and everything and then all the sudden you feel like everything is spinning and you can’t focus on one thing cause everything is spinning
If the medication is causing vertigo I would contact the doctor that prescribed the medication. Having vertigo or being dizzy a lot is a very serious issue and that is something the specialist needs… read more
I’ve experienced Vertigo, but it was from an overdose on an AED ( Anti Epileptic Drug ) medication .

Due to other health conditions I take multiple medications as well as every five weeks have to have Remicade Infusions. A few of the medications along with the infusions cause nausea. I read somewhere that the bands are wonderful to help with that but may not be good for people with seizure disorders. I just want to see if anyone has ever tried them? I would love to eliminate all the meds to stop the nausea.
Margaret, thank you for your reply. I’m glad the vertigo has died down a bit. I hope you find something that helps. Like you nausea isn’t fun, but I must say vertigo is awful. I’ve had a couple of… read more
I have , I had at 13, pneumonia and 103.7 temp, was put in the hospital for 7 to 10 days, that and a kidney stone about 28 yrs ago, not fun.
COVID for me! I ended up in the hospital needing oxygen and running 105°f. I was sick for 4 weeks. I even had a couple seizures during that time!
I didn't find it hard to get used to, maybe people around me did.
It didn't control the seizures.
For over a week now I have been struggling with vertigo (dizziness, shaking, nausea, nystagmus), severe joint pain, headaches, exhaustion. Has anyone else had this and how long did it last? I was hospitalized for 4 days and I am feeling miserable enough that I would almost welcome another hospitalization... and I HATE hospitals, like most of us, I'm sure. The pain in my joints (every joint, seriously) is so severe I cannot lift my arms, bend my wrists (to a certain extent), bend at the knees… read more
Some mornings I wake up with what I call hang over headaches. About 10 or 11 it's gone.
I wonder if any of you have ever experienced a head rush
I really don't know how to describe it other than a head rush. I "hear" and "feel" something going into my brain then all of a sudden I'm seeing double or triple and I cannot speak.
This just happened to me about ten minutes ago while looking around this site
It happens to me on a regular basis. I never thought anything of it until today. I just wonder if this is a common occurrence with anyone.
Anyway, I have an appointment with my… read more
