You maybe experiencing side effect from meds, or you meds are no longer working to their full potential any more.
Has your Dr. Done any blood level tests to see whether or not your meds are at the level they should be at. Maybe they need to increase your med dosage or try you on a different medication.

I will not let them take me off of phenomenal. Have been on it for over 40yrs. I dont like when Dr's mess with my meds. I am in an area that doesn't have many neuro drs.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I experience the exact same thing and at least in my case it's not meds side effect as I do not take any meds at the moment. And I understand when you say it's not vertigo, it's a really strange sensation like you legs won't respond to your command and they go weird ways and this will very likely make you loose your balance but you're not really dizzy. Also I sometimes get terrible headaches in my left side of the brain especially in the occipital area. I still didn't find a solution and tried 2 antiepileptic drugs that actually worsened this. I also am 7.5 years seizure free by now and I am still looking for a way to improve my condition and to keep this streak as long a possible.

Balance and vision could be side effects from your medications I’ve dealt with that.
