When i get stressed i tell my mom i feel weird i will sit down and Thats when my seizures stress my mom says i have alot back to back im on keppra for them i take 3 a day....

Hi, this forum is very important and helpful for those suffering and needing advice. Recently I have noticed people abusing the forum and treating it as a dating site - giving out private email addresses and phone numbers to those that are vulnerable. Please don't abuse the site in this way (I'm not mentioning names but you know who you are).Thank you.

I have tried many times to tell him how much this group helps me with my seizures. You don't have to even say anything. Just read what others are going through. I wanted to know if there is a separate group of people that deal with the care of a person who epilepsy. I think he is afraid to write on the one I have because he feels I might see it. I told him you don't have to use your real name or show your picture. He always says no

there are commercials for cancer, Heart Disease, and a half a dozen more yet no one has even hardly heard of Epilepsy just think of
what good could be done if we had a few commercials ask for help
and talking about it maybe people would know what to do if they saw one

Does anyone else feel guilty about having a seizure? I know I shouldn't but I feel like I get in trouble when I do.

Is it normal to have your uvula ( the thing that hangs in the back of your throat) to hang down and to touch the back of my tongue? It was not like this yesterday. I don't know if it is just swollen or what.

Can any of you who have had a VNS put in answer this question so I can share with her?

I’m 56 and except for early childhood when I was having lots of petit-mal seizures my memory has been great. I’ve had epilepsy all my life. It is affecting my job and others too. I was thinking memory games or something along those lines.
