I've had juvenile myoclonoic epilepsy for about 4 years now and have only had 2 grand mal seizures. I take 200 mg of lamotrigine daily, but was previously on 1250 mg of valproic acid. When I was first diagnosed, my neurologist said she'd only recommend having 2 drinks max. I'm in university right now and the temptation to drink is very high. Has anyone used the Mediterranean diet for helping their memory?

My neurologist said that besides seizure control, getting enough sleep, and exercise that the Mediterranean diet would be something to look into.

If you have what are you recommendations as food? I have already started some research for it.

I have , I had at 13, pneumonia and 103.7 temp, was put in the hospital for 7 to 10 days, that and a kidney stone about 28 yrs ago, not fun.

COVID for me! I ended up in the hospital needing oxygen and running 105°f. I was sick for 4 weeks. I even had a couple seizures during that time!
