I didn't have any heat causing toxic med issues with vimpat. But when I tried vimpat months ago, it made me puke. I don't take that pill anymore. I'm only on Lamotrigine (Lamictal) and Oxcarbazepin (Trileptal).

I know my daughter had issues after starting this medication and when she came to florida to visit us on holiday break she started complaining of alot of bad side effects and feeling like she was going to have a seizure because of the heat. I do think the heat contributed to the side effects. They were bad insomnia, physical restlessness, nausea, diarrhea and headaches. Her mood was also altered

Vimpat I took while experimental, and I've never stopped feeling like I am on a rocking boat, and I stopped it several years ago I still get the rocking feeling it gave me almost daily!
