Occipital lobe epilepsy is one of the rarest forms of epilepsy. if you google search it there is little to no information that pops up. Theyve been trying to get me to get epilepsy brain surgery for years the older I get the more I'm considering it as I'm seeing how it's affecting my life as an adult. I just want to hear other people who have already done it experiences so I know what I'm getting into. Did it completely cure you? Did your seizures get worse? Any mental changes in personality or mood? How painful was it? Etc.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member mine was so long ago I forgot about the puffy eyes. I had that as well. You have the same triggers as me

Ouch these are the things I really like to know
my usual auras consist of tingling in the left side of my face.(my seizures typically occur in my right brain) but recently I had an aura that had visual symptoms. it reminded me of ripples, waves, or tunnel vision. there were also white lights/flashes.(I cannot find the right words to describe what I saw) but it was only in my left eye. Yes, I do. Sometimes it will be just randomly or due to stressful situations.
