Does Anyone Here Have Occipital Lobe Epilepsy?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

To those of you who have Occipital lobe Epilepsy, what do you experience? Do you get a lot of headaches/ migraines? Or see flashing lights?

It looks like my diagnosis has slightly changed... So now I more then likely have TLE & OLE.

I have occipital lobe herniation due to a forceps delivery. That has contributed to my lousy balance and impaired coordination. As well as intolerance of flashing lights and headaches if I don’t pace myself. Headaches are always a warning to me that if I don’t rest or change things up I will have a seizure.

I have a occipital lobe tumour.diagnosed early last year. I have been well controlled, even in a 5 day inpatient VEM, then late last year I had 3 breakthrough seizures. I had a minor stroke in that lobe. It felt like a knife going in then I had problems with my right eye couldn't move or focus. Same love.
