Mine were called Absence, now Partial Awareness. Where I live there is no Liability Insurance, so they call 911. I would not trust anyone to administer anything. I now wear a Lifeline button. I had a fall because I had not eaten due to a tooth being pulled, and was in the ER.
Good for you. Keep it up. I'm Curtis Jones ( white man in pic) I have been seizure - free
for 19 years come come February 6..
I find if you can work out the triggers the best you can then it will most likely minimise the seizures but what the overall impact is if you have ongoing seizure activity that’s another question.
I think that is good, I think that everyone's condition is different and may be similar, may be the same possibly, but I don't worry having the seizures that come to me time to time, I'm used to them and know what to expect, an inconvenience , but live with and not a prob, my opinion
Suzy Q, I had a lot of tests, including Yale New Haven Neurology. Regular EEGs, others actually in my brain. They found where some of my seizures come from, so had a Temporal Lobectomy years ago. I am still on medications. There are some that come from the Left Occipital Lobe now.
I am not really happy, but things will get better. We are making plans, and things should improve eventually. I did buy the stool for the bathtub today. I think it is just another safety measure. As for my employment, I needed to work on bus routes when they ran, since obviously I could not drive. Eventually after a full Neuropsych Workup, they learned my memory was so poor that I could not hear or understand directions about a task. If I did understand however, I did not continue the requested action. The Test determined the Learning Disability was enough I would not be able to get and keep a job. I became eligible for Social Security Disability and a year later Medicare,
