Not sure, but you can get them at any age.

Because my dad told me I was at the top of the stairs talking to myself but what I was saying was worded like having a conversation with myself

Hi everyone would really appreciate any advice on my situation,
My mother had a brain tumor removal 7 years ago and one year after that she had her first seizure. Sheās had them on off after that for a while, but they stopped for about the past two years (knock on wood)
Her seizures would be triggered by fatigue or lack of food/glucose.
Has anyone had this similar experience and had a colonoscopy done?

Has anyone had VNS surgery and how long does it take to slow down your seizures or even stop them. I am planning to get that surgery but afraid if it doesn't help it will still be on the biggest nerve of my body. I workout, jog and have jobs I have to pick up heavy things. Can anyone please help. I have alarms set on my phone- which is almost always close or my husband and mom, who lives with us currently, tell me it went off.
I am tired of feeling like I have not did anything in my life but complain. Yes, I get depressed and feel like I can't do anything right. Now I am scared that high blood pressure has been added and some kind of constipation problems that I am due to see a specialist for next week. Do you view that you had a good life prior to Epilepsy starting later in life? And do you feel that you are cursed, challenged or simply frustrated by life with all of the seizures and/or all of the side effects of medications, surgeries, implants, etc.?
