Ok so I am on 6 different meds a day and the last one that was added was vimpat Is there a side affect of real bad bathroom time
Lastnight I was in the bathroom every 10 minutes
I talked to my doctor and all they said was get some stool medication

My husband suddenly started having grand mal seizures about 6 years ago completely out of the blue and was diagnosed with epilepsy about 6 months after his first cluster of seizures. He was young (27) fit and healthy and strong as he is a farmer, since the epilepsy began he has changed in almost every way... can anyone else relate?
There are many generic alternatives for Levetiracetam (Keppra). I would stick to decently labelled medications, no matter what you're taking. Google the name of the pharmaceutical company on the box… read more
I know seizures can impact memory loss. But I’m on LevetiracetamKeppra and I’m wondering if anyone else feels like this medication has impacted their day to day memory? I feel like I might have short term memory loss. I might just be over thinking it but I thought I’d ask on here incase anyone can relate?
I don't know whether this is an impossible ? .How long before a newly introduced medication begins to show an improvement ( if it's going to at all !) I've come straight off Keppra & have been on Briviact for 3 weeks ( as well as lamotrigine & clobazam) I havet noticed any difference yet in the frequency or intensity of my partials
I've been on Levetiracetam (250 twice a day) for about two weeks now (my main drug is Tetgregol). Everything good for a few weeks but recently feeling nausea, stomach ache. Has anyone else has similar experiences?
My 9 year old son was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. He’s dealt with migraines with aura since he was 4 and been on daily migraine meds since then. They have never worked for him. He has gotten an aura/migraine every 10 days to two weeks. He had his first seizure at school last March. His neurologist gave us rescue meds and we hoped it was a one time thing. Unfortunately in August he had his second seizure that lasted so long we had to call 911.
