That's a good question, not knowing it did and use to smoke daily. Thankfully it didn't seem to affect my having any seizures. Thankfully I stopped some time ago and don't miss it either.
I agree with Lori, I smoked 43 years, quit 16 years ago....70 now and feeling healthy. As for seizures, they still come periodically. Only Focal
Both my neurologists have told me to smoke marijuana ( after asking if I did already); and that was b4 it was legalized or known that I had the two different types of seizures. They both said it would help keep the seizures at bay. I also have smoked since I was 11. So I think ( my opinion) that it depends on what type of seizures u have ( mine have always been grand mals ( Tonic Clonic) and how ur neurologist feels or thinks about marijuana.
Yes it can. It pretty much falls into the same category. Some people are more sensitive to it due to what meds there on. I would always get asked about it when I was on my old meds because my blood tests would show the results of someone who was a heavy drinker and smoker even though I don't do either of these.
I’m sure it’s different for every patient, but even smoking ultra lights made me feel like I would have a seizures. Alcohol for sure has that effect on me.
