Yes! I wasn't even 30 before I was at the dentist and HE is the reason I found out my seizure medication was deteriorating my gums. I no longer have my teeth!

I was only on vimpat for a year or so. But everything else didn't help matters. I've taken neurontin and topamax since the early 90's and have been through keppra, vimpat, lamotrigin, but now the 3 are neurontin, topamax, and zonisamide.

This is why I joined this group. Since starting vimpat I have had lots of dental issues. Wanted to see if anyone else did on this drug

Yes my teeth where fine but they got worst and I had to get them all pulled and now I wear dentures. I was very and it was had to do at a young age. But it takes time to get used to them.
