Update: Okay so I'm getting responses but none that answer my question. I appreciate hearing everyone's experiences but I really do need my question answered.
What hair regrowth/strengthening products do you use? (Minoxidil aside, because I already use it)
Topamax (Topiramate) badly damaged my hair follacles when I was on it a handful of years back. (I'm now 33 yrs old). I use Minoxidil, but I am wondering what else I could be doing. Any suggestions from those with the same issue?
i take hair, nails and skin vitamins.
I am on Toprimate 400mg XR not having hair loss issues on this med. I did have rapid hair loss issues and patches of baldness with Vimpat. I'm 27. I used Biotin to help me get my hair back. Also I started brushing my hair more often to stimulate regrowth, head massage.
I am a lot older than you. I have very thin hair and baby fine. I use Nioxin to help it look fuller. I have been using this for 3 years now and my hair looks thicker. Hope this answers your question.
Thank you, Danielle! Isn't it odd how we all react differently to different drugs? Some of the side effects of these drugs are insane. Topiramate made my hair fall out, gave me horrible acne and made me loose a gross amount of weight. =/
I've been on Lamictal for many years with no issues. My sister in law, though, ended up with Stephens-Johnsons Syndrome.
