Members shared their personal experiences with lacosamide (Vimpat) in response to someone considering switching from clobazam due to tiredness and vivid dreams. Several members described similar side effects with lacosamide, including fatigue, grogginess, vivid dreams, and in some cases double vision, blurred vision, headaches, and dizziness. A recurring theme was that while side effects can be frustrating, finding the most tolerable option is a personal decision, and some members found lacosamide helpful in controlling seizures when combined with other medications.

Be strong. I’ve had epilepsy for over 20 years and it’s not easy to deal with.
