I’m on Fycompa. I’m on a high dose. I’m taking 14 mg’s of it . My Epileptologist said that, for most people 12mg is the max.

Before raised my dosage up anymore, she told my wife and I to pay attention to my behavior or emotions ( one of the side effects ) . If I we notice any changes in those, we have to let my Epileptologist know.

Absolutely terrible drug. my neurologist added fycompa (8mg) into my medication mix 2 years ago and nothing but trouble with it since. It made my depression much worse, gave me horrible mood swings and made me really aggressive. I put on about 28 kilos within 3-4 months of starting it and the list goes on. I would say AVOID!!!! fycompa at all costs
