I’m on Fycompa. I’m on a high dose. I’m taking 14 mg’s of it . My Epileptologist said that, for most people 12mg is the max.

Before raised my dosage up anymore, she told my wife and I to pay attention to my behavior or emotions ( one of the side effects ) . If I we notice any changes in those, we have to let my Epileptologist know.

I took it for about 3weeks. I started having weird thoughts that weren't nice. One day I was at the grocery store and a lady cut me off almost hitting me with her cart since she was yapping in her phone. Well I thought about having a knife a jabbing her in the gut. I told my hubby and said I need to get off this med now. So I called my doctor and she said she would send me a schedule to stop it and go back on what I was on.
