On occasion, I've noticed that I have weakness on my left side-the side which has seizures. I'm taking my medication so why could this be happening? Should I assume it's connected b/c it's on my left side or not?

It sounds like your seizures are hitting part of your brain, that operates that side of your body.

One thing I can relate to your situation, is that every now and then, my seizures will hit me out of the blue. Even when I had taken my meds , had good rest and not super stressed. It would just hit me .

When I was little, a tumor the size of a grapefruit entered my skull. Shortly after it was removed, I'd experienced seizures. They only affected that side b/c of the scar tissue left from the tumor. I have partial epilepsy which I was officially diagnosed with not this last March, but the march before. That's what I was told when they diagnosed me with epilepsy.

Generally if the seizures are on the left side and they have located the seizures on the left side the right side should (if you're going by science) be experiencing the seizures. Left controls the right and visa versa. when the electrical cross over to the other side then you have clonic tonic Check with your Nuerologist
Good luck I hope they get it worked out

True and yes I do keep time and frequency of these occurrences recorded. Thinking about it, from what I know, I would not be surprised if my Levothyroxine might be more the culprit. I guess I just needed a push to make my way to a possible conclusion. One of many granted...but it's a start at least.
