Members offered helpful thoughts on whether to get a mobility scooter despite having epilepsy and a painful leg condition, with the general consensus being that a sit-on mobility scooter is a reasonable and supportive option. Several members raised practical things to consider, like battery range, storage space (with a foldable scooter suggested as a space-saving solution), local sidewalk accessibility for people with disabilities, and whether a license is required. A recurring theme was community warmth and encouragement, with members also acknowledging safety concerns about going out alone and the importance of taking things one day at a time.

I Really Think You Should Get The Scooter & See How It Works Out For You. Good Luck With Your Decision. πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ’œ I Wouldn't Get One Because I Live In NYC. Driving Isn't Even Safe Here.

The only problem I have is storage space for the scooter, I'm thinking of getting a fold up one to help, when I do.
