Usually when I travel, my pharmacy will approve a week of pills so I don't have to take the oral solution with me and worry about it spilling. I was just offered a PT job, but I have to stay until closing, which is after I take my evening medicine. Anyone else take liquid medicine since they have trouble taking pills? I was just curious if anyone has a way they manage that or a container they use. I won't be able to talk to the pharmacy until after the holiday.

Members shared helpful tips for managing liquid epilepsy medicine like Epidiolex while traveling or working, with several suggesting small labeled bottles or extra syringes from the pharmacy as portable options. Practical ideas included using a carry case designed for the medication bottle and syringes, keeping doses clearly labeled with a name, and confirming workplace safety for storing medicine. A recurring theme was building a reliable routine, with one member suggesting color-coded pill boxes left open after doses as a helpful visual reminder.

I've taken the liquid dose of my meds in the past, but found that it wasn't for me...I forgot my meds too many times because this got me out of my routine. I taped two 7-day pill boxes back-to--back so that I can visually see if I remembered my meds. Should anyone want to try this method, I'd suggest using different colored boxes for A.M. and P.M. Also, I do not snap the lids closed after taking the meds to make it easy to spot on sight from a distance if I still need to take them. Hope this helps someone.

I take so many medications…practically most of them. I bring my syringes everywhere I go to help whenever I feel funny.

When I travel long distances I first fill my weekly pill organizer. And carry my next scheduled dose in my pocket pill box . I even pack my pill bottles in my suitcase or duffle bag

For work I carried my pocket pill box. When I hit my schedule time I would take my meds.

Thank you everyone! I admit I didn't even consider using syringes. When I was first diagnosed with epilepsy, the pharmacists would always tell me those we use for the kids. I didn't even think about other practical uses for them.
