Members shared a wide range of strategies for remembering to take seizure medications, with many having started their meds as young as 2 or 3 years old and building lifelong habits over decades. Several members recommended practical tools like AM and PM pill organizers in different colors, automated pill dispensers with loud alarms, and apps such as Medisafe, Epsy, DoseCast, and WebMD to send reminders throughout the day. A recurring theme was tying medication time to a daily routine like feeding a pet, brushing teeth, or eating meals, along with leaning on supportive family members to help stay on track.

I wake up at 6 am. When I get out the bed I placed my medications on my tongue and go to the bathroom, then go to the kitchen and get a glass of water.

At 6 pm, I take my nighttime medications.

Now it’s a habit. I have been doing this for over five years.
