anything on my feet unless I have too. This has just started with me in the last year or so. I was just reading it has to do more with focal seizure patient more southern than any other type of seizure type like tonic clinic generalize Grand mal or any of the others. As any anybody else gotten in this way, just curious.
I’ve always had a shoe problem. Growing up my parents had a hard time keeping shoes on me. As far as due to seizure activity being involved or the cause of wanting to be barefoot? I’ve never heard of that. I only wear shoes because I have to outside due to the heat of the pavement & the fact that I can’t go shopping without shoes.
Places of business tend to frown on No shoes.
Now that I'm older, I prefer shoes that allow me to feel the ground when I wear them. It helps with my balance, feels like I’m barefoot, but protecting my feet at the same time.
Never had any issues like this. Went barefoot as a kid but not much anymore!
As a kid I loved going barefoot just about all the time, this is long before I started having seizures. Now, I still rather be barefoot, but my feet get cold so I will wear socks.
My mother was like that. She would go outside in the snow in the winter time barefoot! She hated wearing shoes!
You could try a naturist holiday. I’m told your problems will drop off faster than your clothes
