I had a brain tumor removed in 2015 and was on keppra after my surgery. I had nocturnal seizures for about 2 weeks after my surgery along with auras. I have not been able to smell since March of 2015. I have tonic clonic seizures, partial seizures and severe short term memory loss.

Have you experienced involuntary jaw vibrations with eye flickering when your eyes are closed?

Yes, these symptoms can occur during certain types of seizures. Involuntary jaw movements and eye flickering are recognized seizure symptoms that some people with epilepsy experience.

Jaw movements during seizures can include:
* Chewing motions
* Jaw clenching
* Grinding teeth
* Repetitive mouth movements

Eye-related symptoms during seizures may involve:
* Rapid blinking or flickering
* Eyes rolling back
* Unusual eye movements to one side or upward
* Eyelid fluttering

These symptoms can happen together during focal seizures or absence seizures. The jaw vibrations you're describing could be a form of automatism (repetitive involuntary movements) or myoclonic jerking affecting the facial muscles.

It's important to discuss these specific symptoms with your neurologist. They can help determine what type of seizure activity might be causing these movements and whether any adjustments to your treatment plan could help manage them better.

Have you noticed if these symptoms happen at particular times of day or if anything seems to trigger them?

I was just wondering if they are linked to having jaw vibration and eyes flickering when eyes closed to rest…, mild essential tremor with additional functional tremors , well also having focal impaired awareness epilepsy

Good post, I have been told by my wife I have grinding of teeth, but I'm not sure it's once in a while doing that, not that I am aware of, on occasion is my guess as for the post here, but get people's opinions here and go to your doc about the post here and go from there about it and good luck with your outcome with, amen
