@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , Yes, you want to be careful with taking to much Pepto or even the Dicyclomine because you don’t want to get constipated. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky

Gotcha I'm going to bring that up my next appointment. He prescribed me famotidine when he found out how much Pepto I was taking. Sometimes you just have to try things out as long as they aren't dangerous. Have a great night

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , My Family doctor prescribes a medication to me that I use when my stomach gets bloated or a little cramping it is known to help with IBS, but if my stomach is bloated or a little cramping & I don’t think Pepto would help then I take the Dicyclomine (brand name is Bentyl). It often helps me but I have to be careful taking it because I think one time when I took it 3 days in a row, I got sick to my stomach one time & I can only guess that was the cause. But I feel like it sometimes helps with my stomach issues that Pepto probably wouldn’t. But yes, the heartburn would be Pepto or Rolaids. Everyone reacts differently to each medication but just thought I’d mention the Dicyclomine. Prayers you get some relief. Your friend in Texas, Becky

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , Not exactly sure what you’re asking for, but I have never had any issues with Pepto causing a seizure. Once in a while I take Rolaids. Medication can affect everyone differently though. If you have any concerns you could ask your nurse or doctor. Your friend in Texas, Becky
