Had a seizure in a pub today. We walked there for lunch and felt fine. Started feeling very tired and dizzy after ordering our food. Felt like I was going to faint & had tunnel vision. I kept trying to focus on objects or things happening around me. I couldn't focus my eyes properly developed a whole body tremour, couldn't cut my food or pick up my drink. This would have been a great opportunity to take a rescue Valtoco right when you notice the aura! Other possibilities are to take a rescue Ativan tablet.
A lot of my colleagues didn't know about my epilepsy as it was well controlled. The ones who did, supported me well and made sure I got the help when I needed it. The issue I face is that I work in a very high risk department within the NHS. They say it's my choice to work or not whilst having uncontrolled seizures. However I could lose my registration if something happens when I'm deemed not safe to work by HR.

I’ve been at a store for 20+ years with epilepsy and they’ve always made sure I was safe and taken care of me when I have a seizure. Everybody should work together as a team to keep you safe when you have a seizure. They’ve never complained about dealing with my seizures.
I did post it a while ago, however that post was about tremors in my sleep. Consultant has been out of office so waiting to hear back from him.
I feel so guilty as I'm due to go back to work next week and I'm already worrying if I will manage a 10 hour shift whilst having auras, focal seizures during the day and tonic clonic seizures in my sleep. Still awaiting face to face appointment with my consultant and 48 hr EEG results. I don't know what to do at this point. A strong duty of care makes me want to go back to work whereas I need to protect myself and my patients from myself (if I have a seizure whilst they are under my care)
I've had it happen twice, but most recently it was due to Phenytoin Toxicity
