I have auras all the time along with my seizures... but I've been having them for 30+years, so I know I'm fine. If you've never had them before and they continue to happen, make a appointment to see your Doctor or go to an emergency clinic as soon as you can.
Even if you were having a seizure and you called an ambulance. By the time they got there your seizure is likely over. They'll check your pulse... heartrate... sugar levels (or whatever) and then say, "you're fine...bye".
Now... If you're having a continuous seizure that isn't stopping... go to the ER right away!
In the end... you know your body best. If you feel like something is wrong... LISTEN!!!
*I'm not a Doctor. This was an opinion from personal experience.*
Take care.

Hello, after my neurologist that helped me through the my most difficult time she moved away. So, I interviewed several, there was one that was awful, no bedside manner and was about money. I said all of that to say.....I know ask them why they chose this practice. If they dont have an heartfelt answer....I don't trust them. It doesn't matter what they practice.

Call UBER or someone to get you to the ER. Don't be like me & try to drive. Multiple auras is not good, let the ER check you out.

Should you go to the ER if you're having multiple auras this morning?

Having multiple auras (back-to-back seizures) is concerning and can be a reason to seek emergency medical help. If you're experiencing repeated auras without full recovery between them, this could indicate a seizure cluster.

You should go to the ER or call Show Full Answer

Should you go to the ER if you're having multiple auras this morning?

Having multiple auras (back-to-back seizures) is concerning and can be a reason to seek emergency medical help. If you're experiencing repeated auras without full recovery between them, this could indicate a seizure cluster.

You should go to the ER or call an ambulance if:

- You're having back-to-back seizures without recovering between them
- You don't have rescue medication available
- Your rescue medication isn't working
- The auras progress into prolonged seizures lasting 5 minutes or more
- You experience any head injury or fall

If you have rescue medication and your auras resolve after taking it, you should still contact your doctor as soon as possible to report what happened.

When you experience an aura, it's your warning to get to a safe place immediately - sit or lie down, alert someone nearby, and follow your seizure action plan if you have one.
