My issue is that lately I've been waking up around between 3:00 or 4:00. I had a hardtime on occasion getting to sleep, but my Doc prescribed Trazodone that I take as needed to take the edge off and get me to sleep.

Yes, sometimes I get enough sleep and sometimes I don't. Being stress about sometimes does affect me not getting enuogh sleep. I will wake up too early and cannot go back to sleep. I am not a person who takes a nap during the day.

I go back and forth with getting enough sleep. Mostly it depends on weather the cats are up to something.

With my insomnia, depending on how long I was awake. For example, I’ve had times where I was awake for 24+ hours.. when I finally do fall asleep I may sleep for 12 hours

Being a night owl I never had good sleeping habits. If I sleep 3-4 hours straight through I had a good night. I just got use to it over the years. I don't believe it's seizure related, just the way my internal clock works.
