I had a doctor tell me that it’s more of the blue light that effects epilepsy.

My prescription glasses gave progressive lens in them and they also have blue light since I spend time on tablets, lap top and watching TV and it blocks the blue light no matter what i looking at. I fall asleep much quicker since I got them. If you dont wear glasses my grandson whose 24 uses blue light glasses he bought on Amazon. He says they work really good for him.

The Blue light filter is supposed to be used for computers and cell phones. They give out a blue light that makes it harder to sleep at night.

It depends on what kind of epilepsy. My husband has a great matter heterotopia. One of the seizure points is in his occipital lobe. He is sensitive to both wave lengths and flickering. He sees Dr. Cantrell in St. Louis for tinted contacts. https://cantrelleyecare.com/services/ He still needs strong polarized sunglasses with the dark blue contacts for bright sunlight. He can go out in sunlight without seizures now.https://cantrelleyecare.com/services/

Going back 50years I remember walking into a disco as soon I got inside I fell to the floor cause of the flashing lights, meaning I am photosensitive, I got these glasses 10years after aged 17.

I have worn glasses for years that change in sunlight or bright lights to sunglasses, I don't like the bright sun, before I got them going out in to the sunshine was a trigger for a seizure, now it's completely different.
