You are lucky 🍀 it seems me. There was a little boy who lived behind me growing up. Umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, too. He couldn’t move. Neighbors helped out with patterning exercises but nothing helped.

I sure was lucky. I even inhaled Meconium. I was a blue baby and doctors told my mom that they didn’t believe I was going to live. They life flighted me in a helicopter 🚁 to another hospital. I’m sorry your neighbor had a child who had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck too. I doubt if I was moving either because I wasn’t even breathing.

The doctors have done many brain surgeries for my epilepsy . For years doctors believed my epilepsy was due to a traumatic head injury before I was 2 years but after all of these surgeries doctors now say it was the asphyxiation that caused my Epilepsy. I suffered Meconium Aspiration Syndrome and a Nuchal Cord (umbilical cord wrapped around neck) at birth.

My birth asphyxiation at birth caused me to start having seizures when I was 10 years old
