to get it approved. It’s already been denied twice by the state of VA. Now it’s looking like I’m going to have to go in front of a judge to get it approved. The reason the state keeps denying it is because I was having an issue with my hand at one time due to the stuff I go through and stop doing what it was doing at the time so now they won’t approve it. It seems to me you have to be completely crippled in order to be approved anymore.
If you have seizures, you would need a doctor statement providing information about your disability, and then get in contact with SSA about getting social security disability, because if you've had seizures for a long time without getting social security, they would owe you back pay.
You NEED A DISABILITY REPRESENTATIVE Quinn. I've mentioned it before. You'll have to gather mounds of paperwork, his o& dr records, make a calendar off Internet you can write in the squares to record tired days, naps, auras, seizures, poor sleep, slept too much, headaches. Must claim a mental factor almost to be successful so list anxiety & depression, hopefully you're on an an antidepressant to back it up. Must show how epilepsy and other illnesses keep you from being able to do PRODUCTIVE,timely work, how you would miss more than 2 days a month due to symptoms, need for extra breaks at. Work. Go to your county's Bocational Rehab and be evaluated, they can also do psychological testing and it bears a lot of weight. You can choose a courtroom or video hearing when time comes. Your rep will be on, the judge, you, and they'll have a state voc rehab "expert" with what jobs available with your limitations and give recommendation to judge, but after your interview he will take all the factors and can disagree with experts. Don't be afraid of it, it's not controversial or belittling, judge is trying to do what's best for you, it'll take about 45 mins is all.

You are not the only one. Keep trying until you get to the final level. That is what I am doing. I have always have an attorney since I started in 2019.
Have Your Neurologist work with You. It was My Neurologist who recommended it for Me.
I'm stuck in appeals limbo myself now. Keep your head up. There are people who can help you with your VA disability claim after everything is exhausted. I know, my dad helps with that group. Keywords being "after everything is exhausted". They come in and help out with getting you to 100 percent. He's helped quite a few people in texas, but he is retiring soon. Keep this in mind and if necessary, reply back to me once all efforts are exhausted and my dad and the company he works (or worked) for can help.
